Architecture Becomes Object

Miguel Martins is a premium olive oil concept inspired by the white stone architecture of southern Italy.
Rather than applying identity onto a bottle, the project transforms architecture itself into a functional object — where structure, proportion and light define the experience.

The design avoids traditional olive oil cues.
No labels, no color contrasts, no illustrative storytelling.
Instead, architectural elements such as windows and balconies are translated into subtle relief forms, allowing the identity to emerge directly from the geometry.

A matte white surface removes reflection and commercial gloss, turning the bottle into a sculptural presence.
Light becomes the primary visual tool — revealing depth, hierarchy and detail through shadow rather than color or graphics.

Miguel Martins is not just packaging, but a physical extension of place.
It captures the calm, minimal and timeless character of southern Italy — presenting olive oil as an object shaped by architecture, material and memory.
