taste vs. ai

i have just updated my personal website with a more "me" style. i realized that its recent version includes too much "ai" content so i decided to change it.
but what is the main ingredient that seperates us from ai? i think it is our taste. what we like, what we are fan of, what we are curious of. i thought a lot about how to change my website with using my taste. finally, i come up with this idea that inspires from mac miller's good:am album cover, which i like it a lot just like the album. so i tried that style and added my own perspective and commentary. in the end, the result was something i was very pleased with.
but this is not it. this is not how it ended. you have to develop a unique taste of course. i'm not saying i have a perfect taste but i managed to create a unique website and personal visual identity rebrand thanks to my "likes". i didn't even used to know good:am album 2-3 years ago so it is not a overnight thing to build.
be curious. do not commit things already mainstream. you can not imagine how new and rare pieces can affect your perspective. i repeat, do not stick with the same . find your inspiration through your taste. trust me, i am not telling this like it's a success story.
try to find your perspective. this is actually what i am trying to do these days, actually weeks. i have been freelancing for months and it is hard asf. so i realized, it is not the design, not color palettes, fonts or mockups you chose. not ai prompt you've used, it is the way you thinking.
these days, every designer screaming this. and it is make sense. how you think different from ai? is your experiences, taste, library going to help the brand show itself from a different perspective. you (and me) should improve this habit.
